The bonnet pattern, unique fabric combinations, all descriptive text, all images (except those supplied by others as part of the project), all slogans, trademarks and all other designs, images, words and materials are registered with the US Copyright Office, as of 2008. Because this work is part of a fine art project, copyright protections are stiff, and you may not reproduce the bonnet design except for individual, private, non-commercial use. Reproduction of the bonnet design, the pattern combinations or any other part of this project without express written permission is a violation of the copyright. You simply cannot duplicate these bonnet designs and reproduce them for sale.
It is tremendously unfortunate that I have to add this statement to my site-- and that I cannot simply assume that people will be kind enough to not steal the art that is represented here. However, I have already had one issue with a seller on etsy and have been advised to make the copyright information very clearly available on my site.
